Baptisms at The Hills
Baptism is a powerful step of faith and a public declaration of new life in Christ. On Sunday, February 15th, we’ll be celebrating baptisms immediately following our Sunday Experience.
Whether you’re ready to take this next step or simply want to come celebrate with our church family, we invite you to stay and be part of this meaningful moment. It’s a joyful, hope-filled morning you won’t want to miss.

Block Party
Join us on Sunday, March 8th at 10am for our annual Block Party—a special Sunday where we pause our regular service and come together simply to have fun and build community.
This is a relaxed, family-friendly morning designed for connection and joy. We’ll have jumpers, lawn games, food, and plenty of fun for all ages. Whether you’ve been part of our church for years or are looking for a great opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, or family, this is the perfect Sunday to come as you are and enjoy time together.

Moneywise Class
Moneywise is a 6-week class designed to help you gain clarity, confidence, and peace around your finances. Meeting on Wednesday nights beginning March 11, this course will be taught by our church finance team and will combine biblical wisdom with practical, real-world financial guidance.
Throughout the class, you’ll learn how to budget, steward your resources well, and make wise financial decisions that align with God’s principles—whether you’re just getting started or looking to reset your financial habits.

This class is open to individuals and couples who want to grow in financial health and stewardship in a supportive, faith-based environment.

Family Meeting
Family Meeting is an open gathering for anyone who calls The Hills home — or is interested in learning more about who we are and where we’re headed.
We’ll share updates on our church finances, upcoming events, plans for 2026, teams, and more. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, hear the vision, and stay connected as we move forward together.
Childcare will be provided for children 10 and under. Older kids are welcome to join the meeting. Please be sure to sign up here in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Sabbath Sunday
As we close out the year, we want to take a moment to pause, breathe, and create space for rest. That’s why Sunday, December 29th will be a Sabbath Sunday at The Hills.
This means we will not be gathering in person on that day. Instead, we’re encouraging you and your loved ones to slow down, enjoy a morning of rest, and reflect on God’s goodness throughout the year. Sabbath Sunday is a gift—a time to reset our hearts, strengthen our families, and enter the new year refreshed.
We’ll return the following Sunday ready to kick off 2026 with expectancy and joy!

Pancakes and PJs
Pancakes and PJs is back! Sunday, December 7th, Hills Kids is having a pajama party! So don’t bother getting your kids dressed for church or even feeding them breakfast. We will be serving up pancakes and having an awesome time!!
Women's Mini Retreat
Join us for The Hills Women's Mini Retreat!
This year our women will be gathering at a home in Rancho Santa Fe for a time of fellowship and worship. We will start the day with a beautiful Christmas brunch followed by worship and a message led by Holli Davila featuring other influential women in our church. We will have a time of reflection and a special activity.
The fee is $15 for the day to cover food and materials. However, we do not want this cost to be a barrier to you attending. We have money set aside to provide scholarships as needed. Please reach out to Holli Davila, Amy Jones, or Marissa Syzonenko to request a scholarship.

Join us for one of the most exciting Sundays of the year—Next Gen Sunday! This special service is all about celebrating and empowering the next generation. Our kids and youth will be leading the way as they set up service, lead worship, host, and more. Mental Health Sunday
At The Hills we believe mental health is so important and not talked about nearly enough in church spaces.
We are taking this Sunday to focus on mental health. We will have speakers sharing stories of hope and medical professionals speaking on what you can do to help your mental health. We will also have a lot of resources for anyone struggling with mental health. This day is not just for those who consider themselves religious but can serve anyone in the community so please invite anyone you know along.

Sabbath Sunday
At The Hills Community Church we believe Sabbath should not only be practiced personally but corporately as well!
We will be taking August 31st off of church to rest in the Lord and give our hard working volunteers some time off. Use this day to spend time with family, friends, and truly rest.
New York Mission Trip

At The Hills we believe in celebrating corporately what we hope to practice privately… so we will be taking a Sabbath Sunday on May 25th, Memorial Day weekend.

Serve Sunday

We have been given the great purpose of serving our neighbors and we want to do it together! The Hills Community Church will be giving back to the community we love on Sunday, March 2nd.
