San Diego has the potential to be a launching board for missions to the nations, simply because the nations have come to San Diego. The area population has grown to over 3 million and is expected to grow exponentially over the next several decades, although only 9.8 percent of people claim to be evangelicals.

The community of San Marcos in North San Diego County has doubled in population since the year 2000 (from 57,000 to over 101,000). This area is a very difficult area for a church to find a location, but we know that the church is not a building, it is a people. And this community is in need of life-giving, gospel preaching churches that will reach the unchurched community.
